Feedback on Final Major Project Proposal

Grade: A4

On Tuesday the 31st January I received my feedback for my project proposal in a 1:1 meeting with Anna Felton. I was over the moon with my A4 grade as I worked really hard on it and am really excited by my idea, to have my teachers both understand and like my idea is very encouraging and motivating. The feedback I have been given is very clear and helpful and has aided me in understanding what steps to take next in developing and creating my content for my magazine.

Positive feedback:

- The topic I have chosen as a focus for my magazine is very relevant

- Well researched

- Clearly justified target audience

- Strong project focus with a well considered USP

- Aesthetically pleasing

- Well described competitor & inspirations

- References to trends which support my idea

- Good examples of relevant fashion and beauty brands

- Clear visual direction

Suggestions on development:

- Make magazine location broader and rather than just featuring restaurant reviews and places to visit in London make it across the main cities in the UK

- Consider carrying out a focus group to test my idea and gain feedback on content and layout ideas

- When looking at fashion and beauty brands to feature in my magazine consider smaller brands and start up businesses as these are usually more ethical

- Research website design layouts and how I will go about creating this
