Reclaimed Vintage shoot at Hooch & Candy
The Hooch and Candy shoot with Reclaimed Vintage band t-shirts was my favourite shoot so far. I think the location worked really well with the clothing I was styling and the model was really professional. She had the perfect look for the shoot and was confident in front of the camera. I kept the makeup minimal with all the focus on the eyes with a cobalt blue eye look and I styles the hair in a sleek low ponytail. I used accessories such as sunglasses, shoes and jewelry to change the aesthetic of each outfit and give them a slightly different feel. The lighting in the store was just what I wanted and I loved the backdrop of brightly coloured packaging and American flags that are displayed around the store. The photographer was amazing and we managed to shoot all of the clothing in an hour. The only issue was the photographer arriving two hours late for the shoot. I had this issue with my Zara shoot and have realised this is just a standard problem which is quite unavoidable in the industry when collaborating with other creatives. Due to the nature of the shoot this didn't hinder us completing the job however this is down to the flexibility of the man who owned the shop and the model. If this was in the studio like the Zara shoot this would have been more of a problem as when shooting in the studio you have specific slots and if the photographer didn't show up and we ran over my slot and someone else was using it straight after we would have been required to reschedule or source an alternative location. Below are some images I took from my phone during the photoshoot:
