Creating my website
I decided to use Wix to make my website as the pre-made templates available made the website look cleaner and more professional. I was originally planning on using Adobe Muse however I didn't think I would have the time to make the website look how I wanted it to using this software as I have never used it before and I have already had to teach myself how to use InDesign from scratch to construct my magazine. I didn't want to add to the pressure on top of everything else I have to do by attempting to learn a new software when there are other platforms such as Wix and Squarespace to take advantage off.

Aims of website:
- To be able to use it as a platform for readers to be able to purchase the finished magazine
- Offer links to external social media websites such as Instagram
- Showcase teaser imagery from the magazine
- An 'about' page with a written description of the magazine, its theme and purpose.

I wanted my website to be minimalistic, clean and simple to navigate with easily digestible content and I am happy with the finish of it. Once I published my website I looked at it on my phone to see how it looked from a mobile device and noticed that it wasn't the same as on my laptop. Area's of text and images had been moved about and didn't look clean or professional. I went back onto Wix and edited my website separately to ensure it is mobile-friendly. My magazine is going to be in digital format because of ethical reasons and also because people use technology constantly now for everything so I wanted to make sure my website was as aesthetically pleasing from a handheld device as on a computer screen.
